Shenzhen-based robot AI developer Ruoyu Technology has completed a nine-figure RMB Pre-A funding round led by Sunway Communication, 36Kr reported on October 15. Other investors include Jinmu Capital, Qindao Capital, Huanghai Capital and Zhongchuang Capital.
Founded in 2023 and incubated by Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, Ruoyu develops AI systems that help robots perceive environments, plan tasks and control physical actions. Its Jiutian robot “brain” combines cloud-based planning with local perception and control.
The company has used robotic refueling as an initial commercial application, testing an explosion-protected system at a station in Foshan. It plans to use the funding to improve its robot AI, collect operational data from real-world deployments and expand commercialization. [36Kr, in Chinese]
