Chinese desktop manufacturing startup InfiMaker has completed a Pre-A+ funding round worth tens of millions of dollars from IDG Capital and Kunlun Capital, STAR Market Daily reported on October 15. The company develops compact five-axis computer numerical control machines for professional users and creators.

Founded in 2024 by former DJI employees and robotics researchers, InfiMaker combines machining hardware with its own computer-aided manufacturing software. Its K1 machine coordinates five axes to produce complex shapes, with applications including prototyping, jewelry making, dental work and education.

The K1 raised more than RMB 30 million on Kickstarter, and deliveries are expected to begin by the end of 2026. InfiMaker has established a factory in Shenzhen and will use the new funding and crowdfunding proceeds to scale production, improve its software and expand distribution.
