Chinese scientific simulation and AI-data startup SciVisual has completed angel and angel-plus funding rounds totaling tens of millions of RMB, ChinaVenture reported on October 15. Investors include Shanghai Future Industry Fund, Houxue Capital and Pudong Venture Capital.

Founded by University of Science and Technology of China researcher Yang Yuanfan, the Hefei-based company converts complex scientific equipment into structured digital assets. Its technology combines 3D models, component relationships, material properties and physical parameters so AI systems can interpret and use scientific and engineering data.

SciVisual has worked on projects involving fusion reactors, particle accelerators and other major research facilities, and is expanding into industrial customers. The company has a team of nearly 40 people and reported revenue in the tens of millions of RMB this year. [ChinaVenture, in Chinese]
