Chinese robot maker Unitree reported third-quarter revenue of RMB 665 million, up 69.93% from a year earlier, in its first quarterly earnings report since its August listing on Shanghai’s STAR Market. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 113 million.
For the first nine months, revenue rose 55.71% to RMB 1.817 billion, while attributable net profit increased 270.54% to RMB 387 million. Unitree attributed the profit increase partly to a large share-based payment expense recorded a year earlier. Excluding nonrecurring items, nine-month net profit fell 18.78% to RMB 349 million.
The company is expanding beyond robot hardware into embodied AI models and applications. Its research and development spending reached RMB 263 million in the first nine months, up 191.48% and equivalent to 14.47% of revenue. [STAR Market Daily, in Chinese]
