Xiaohongshu launched an anti-epidemic psychological assistance platform on Feb 10th, 2020, providing 24/7 free psychological counseling to frontline medical staff, patients and the general public who are affected by the coronavirus epidemic. Xiaohongshu will actively push the consultation feature page to users in Hubei to ensure the hotline reaches the severely affected areas.
Searching for keywords such as โheart-warming actionโ or โpsychological assistanceโ (our translations) in Xiaohongshu app will bring users to the relevant page to make an appointment with relevant institution for a one-to-one free psychological consultation. It is worth mentioning that to support the consultation needs of front-line medical staff, each institution will send consultants with experience in professional medical communication.
The โheartwarming actionโ cause was initiated by Xiaohongshu in conjunction with Hubei Provincial Psychological Counselors Association, Yidianling, Yi Psychology, Simple Psychology, and Depression Research Institute, with the participation of more than 1,000 professional counselors.
