Bambu Lab has launched the R1, a 55W CO₂ laser cutter and engraver that marks the company’s first product line beyond 3D printing.
The machine can cut up to 18mm black walnut plywood and 20mm acrylic, while a conveyor accessory allows it to process materials up to 3 meters long. The R1 starts at $2,499 in the United States, with preorders opening Sept. 22 and shipments scheduled to begin in October. [Bambu Lab]
