vivo has launched the X500 Pro series, comprising the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, with prices starting at RMB 6,499. The phones are the first to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chipset, according to vivo.
The X500 Pro has a 6.36-inch display, while the Pro Max uses a 6.85-inch panel. Both models support a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and vivo says the camera system’s new sensor can deliver a 17-stop dynamic range; the Pro Max adds a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera.
The X500 Pro packs a 6,510mAh battery and the Pro Max an 8,000mAh battery, with both supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Preorders began on Sept. 21; the X500 Pro Max is scheduled to go on sale Sept. 24, followed by the X500 Pro on Sept. 29. [vivo, in Chinese]
