Nubia has launched the NaviX Ultra, the second-generation Doubao Phone, with the 12GB + 512GB model priced at RMB 5,999 and a government-subsidy price starting at RMB 5,499. The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB versions cost RMB 6,499 and RMB 7,499, respectively. [ZTE, in Chinese]
The phone is the first mass-market device to ship with the Doubao Phone Assistant consumer version. Nubia calls it the world’s first AI agent phone, with the assistant designed to understand complex instructions, plan and execute cross-app tasks, adapt across apps, self-correct and follow long-running task context. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and includes an independent AI key with fingerprint authentication.
