WeChat is testing an “AI processing” option in its image-sending interface. The feature can enhance images, change backgrounds and styles, remove objects, expand images, improve resolution, add mosaics and watermarks, and extract text.
It can also summarize or translate image content and generate documents. The tools remain available only to a limited group of users as part of WeChat’s broader AI feature rollout. [TechNode reporting]
