Xiaomi has delivered more than 800,000 electric vehicles since entering the market, founder and CEO Lei Jun announced on Sept. 7. The milestone comes roughly 29 months after the company began handing over its first SU7 sedans in April 2024.
Xiaomi reported more than 30,000 deliveries in August. At a July 30 technology event, Lei said the SU7 and YU7 had together surpassed 700,000 cumulative deliveries. Xiaomi also said it is preparing for the launch and delivery of its Pengcheng model. [IT Home, in Chinese]
