ChangXin Memory Technologies, also known as CXMT, held a 10% share of the global DRAM market by revenue in the second quarter, according to the latest data from Counterpoint Research. Its share rose from 4% a year earlier and 8% in the previous quarter, making it the fastest-growing supplier in the market.

Samsung Electronics remained the largest DRAM supplier with a 39% share, followed by SK hynix at 26% and Micron at 25%. The three companies’ combined share fell from 94% to 87% over the same period, while CXMT ranked fourth globally. [IT Home, in Chinese]
