Fuyao Group has added a solar sunroof to its automotive glass product lineup. The company says the integrated solar-cell system can produce up to 150 watts per square meter and supply power for vehicle ventilation, connectivity systems and dashcams.
Fuyao previously said it had developed the product and had the ability to manufacture it at scale. The company’s product page does not identify a specific vehicle customer or production model using the solar sunroof. [Fuyao, IT Home, in Chinese]
