Xiaomi’s robot will make its first public appearance at the 2026 World Robot Conference, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing said in the earnings-call report. The conference is scheduled to run from Aug. 19 to Aug. 23, according to the Beijing government’s event information.
Lu said Xiaomi does not plan to develop the robot as a standalone product. Instead, the company intends to connect its robotics work with its broader “human, car and home” ecosystem, including smart factories, mobility and household applications. [TechNode reporting]
