App Annie, the mobile app analytics service provider that started from China, has acquired Distimo, another mobile analytics service that started from the Netherlands in 2009.

Itโ€™s the first acquisition App Annie has made since the founding four years ago. The price isnโ€™t disclosed, but App Annie says itโ€™s made in cash and equity.

The Distimo team will be integrated into App Annieโ€™s, and Distimoโ€™s headquarters in the Netherlands will become App Annieโ€™s European R&D center. The combined employees will be more than 240 around the world.

The combination of the two startups now have a total of 600, 000 mobile apps using their services and 270,000 registered users.

Also, App Annie has raised a $17 million round funding from existing investors, IDG Capital Partners, Greycroft Partners, and Sequoia Capital. Prior to this round, the company has raised three rounds of funding that totals $39 million.
